The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
समासेन मुने भूयो दृष्टतत्त्वचमत्कृतेः ।
कथयोदारवृत्तान्तं कस्ते वचसि तृप्यति ॥ १ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
samāsena mune bhūyo dṛṣṭatattvacamatkṛteḥ |
kathayodāravṛttāntaṃ kaste vacasi tṛpyati || 1 ||

Rama rejoined:—O sage! nobody is satiate with all thou sayest, but must learn more and more from you; therefore say in short the substance of the present subject, which is as grand as it is wondrous to hear.
