The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भवानिव विचार्यादौ संसारमतिकान्तया ।
मत्या यो गाहते लोको नेहासौ परिमज्जति ॥ १७ ॥

bhavāniva vicāryādau saṃsāramatikāntayā |
matyā yo gāhate loko nehāsau parimajjati || 17 ||

Men who consider the world, and take it in the same light of a dangerous ocean as you do, are not likely to be drowned in it, when they steer their bark in it after due consideration.
