The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यस्यायं सागरः पूर्णो मोहाम्बुभरपूरितः ।
अगाधमरणावर्तकल्लोलाकुलकोटरः ॥ ५ ॥

yasyāyaṃ sāgaraḥ pūrṇo mohāmbubharapūritaḥ |
agādhamaraṇāvartakallolākulakoṭaraḥ || 5 ||

This ocean is full with the water of ignorance, and its vast basin is filled with fatal whirlpools and overwhelming waves of discord and dangers.
