The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.76.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
ब्रह्मणः समुपायान्ति जगन्तीमानि राघव ।
स्थैर्यं यान्त्यविवेकेन शाम्यन्त्येव विवेकतः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
brahmaṇaḥ samupāyānti jagantīmāni rāghava |
sthairyaṃ yāntyavivekena śāmyantyeva vivekataḥ || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—These worlds which have sprung from Brahma the creator, are upheld by ignorance, and become extinct before right reason.
