The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नीरागा निरुपासङ्गा जीवन्मुक्ता महाधियः ।
संभवन्तीह बहुशः सुहोत्रजनका इव ॥ ४७ ॥

nīrāgā nirupāsaṅgā jīvanmuktā mahādhiyaḥ |
saṃbhavantīha bahuśaḥ suhotrajanakā iva || 47 ||

There are many dispassionate and disconnected men, even in the present age; who are liberated in their lifetime, like the sacrificial king Janaka and others.
