The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.75.44

मुक्तौ राघव लोकेऽस्मिन्प्राप्तिरस्ति सदैव हि ।
प्रवृत्त्या हि विवेकस्य विमुक्ता भूतकोटयः ॥ ४४ ॥

muktau rāghava loke'sminprāptirasti sadaiva hi |
pravṛttyā hi vivekasya vimuktā bhūtakoṭayaḥ || 44 ||

But it is true, O Rama! that you gain a certain good by your getting rid of this world; and it is your riddance from the manifold evils and mischances, which are unavoidable concommittants with this life.
