The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जरामरणयुद्धादिद्वत्द्वसंगरलीलया ।
चरती ह चिरं कालं मुक्तोऽपि भगवान्हरिः ॥ १७ ॥

jarāmaraṇayuddhādidvatdvasaṃgaralīlayā |
caratī ha ciraṃ kālaṃ mukto'pi bhagavānhariḥ || 17 ||

The lord Hari, though ever liberated from every bond, has been continually employed in his contests and combats with the Asuras as if in sport.
