The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निरञ्जनतया बुद्धो जनतां पालयंश्चिरम् ।
जीवन्मुक्ताकृतिर्नित्यं मनू राज्यमपालयत् ॥ ३ ॥

nirañjanatayā buddho janatāṃ pālayaṃściram |
jīvanmuktākṛtirnityaṃ manū rājyamapālayat || 3 ||

Think of Buddha who ruled over his people, freed from all his passions and affections; and bring to your mind, how Manu ruled over in peace, his realm and who was as an exemplar of liberation in his lifetime.
