The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.74.84

एवं तत्त्वे परे शुद्धे धीरो विश्रान्तिमागतः ।
न शक्यते चालयितुं देवैरपि सवासवैः ॥ ८४ ॥

evaṃ tattve pare śuddhe dhīro viśrāntimāgataḥ |
na śakyate cālayituṃ devairapi savāsavaiḥ || 84 ||

Thus a man who is steadfast in his spiritual meditation, and intent upon the supreme soul, is not to be turned away from it by the power of the gods, or by the jealousy of Indra.
