The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शरीराद्व्यतिरिक्तं ज्ञं पश्यतः प्रविवेकिनः ।
विकर्तिताङ्गकस्यापि न किंचित्प्रविकर्तितम् ॥ ७१ ॥

śarīrādvyatiriktaṃ jñaṃ paśyataḥ pravivekinaḥ |
vikartitāṅgakasyāpi na kiṃcitpravikartitam || 71 ||

The learned understand the wise man apart from his body; because the maimed body does not take away anything from the wisdom of a man.
