आपतत्सु यथाकालं यथादेशं यथाक्रमम् ।
सुखदुःखेषु न क्षोभमेति भूभृदृतुष्विव ॥ ६८ ॥

āpatatsu yathākālaṃ yathādeśaṃ yathākramam |
sukhaduḥkheṣu na kṣobhameti bhūbhṛdṛtuṣviva || 68 ||

Though overtaken by the accidents of the times, places and circumstances of life, yet he is not overpowered by the influence of their pain or pleasure; but stands erect as the sturdy oak against the influence of the seasons.
