The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हसत्यलमतीतास्ताः पेलवा दिवसावलीः ।
यासु स्मरशरश्रेणीचपलं चित्तमास्थितम् ॥ ३२ ॥

hasatyalamatītāstāḥ pelavā divasāvalīḥ |
yāsu smaraśaraśreṇīcapalaṃ cittamāsthitam || 32 ||

He smiles at every thing, by his setting himself above and beyond all mortal and frail things; his days glide away sweetly and softly with him; and he laughs at those men, whose fickle minds are made the marks of cupid's arrows.
