The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनुभूतिमयं तस्मात्सारं ब्रह्मेति कथ्यते ।
दृश्यदर्शनसंबन्धे सुखसंविदनुत्तमा ॥ ३४ ॥

anubhūtimayaṃ tasmātsāraṃ brahmeti kathyate |
dṛśyadarśanasaṃbandhe sukhasaṃvidanuttamā || 34 ||

The abstract meditation of things is said to be a divine attribute (or Platonism of the mind); and our consciousness of the relations of vision and visibles, afford the highest delight to the soul.
