The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देहनाशे विनष्टोऽस्मीत्येवं यस्याऽमतेर्भ्रमः ।
मातुः स्तनतटात्तस्य मन्ये वेताल उत्थितः ॥ ६३ ॥

dehanāśe vinaṣṭo'smītyevaṃ yasyā'materbhramaḥ |
mātuḥ stanataṭāttasya manye vetāla utthitaḥ || 63 ||

He who falls into the error of thinking himself as lost at the loss of his body, is like a baby, which is snatched away by a fairy from the breast of its mother.
