The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सत्यावलोकनेनैषा मिथ्यादृष्टिर्विनश्यति ।
अवलोकनया साम्यमातपे जलधिर्यथा ॥ २३ ॥

satyāvalokanenaiṣā mithyādṛṣṭirvinaśyati |
avalokanayā sāmyamātape jaladhiryathā || 23 ||

The sight of truth, removes every false appearance; as the knowledge of light in the sandy desert, displaces the mirage of the ocean in the sun-beams.
