The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जलमेव यथाम्भोधिर्न तरङ्गादिकं पृथक् ।
आत्मैवेदं तथा सर्वं न भूतोयादिकं पृथक् ॥ १४ ॥

jalameva yathāmbhodhirna taraṅgādikaṃ pṛthak |
ātmaivedaṃ tathā sarvaṃ na bhūtoyādikaṃ pṛthak || 14 ||

As the sea is a vast body of water, with its waves of the same element, and no way different from it; so is all this plenum composed of the pure soul, and this earth and water are no other than itself.
