The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दिवि देवा भुवि नराः पाताले भोगिनोऽसुराः ।
ब्रह्माण्डोदुम्बरफले स्फुरन्मशकवत्स्थिताः ॥ ३२ ॥

divi devā bhuvi narāḥ pātāle bhogino'surāḥ |
brahmāṇḍodumbaraphale sphuranmaśakavatsthitāḥ || 32 ||

This Sansakti constitutes the constitution of the system of nature;which is composed of the heavens, earth and infernal regions; peopled by gods, men, demons &c., who are like gnats fluttering about the fruit of the mundane fig tree.
