The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असंबन्धोऽपि संबन्धो भवत्यन्तर्विनिश्चयात् ।
स्वप्नाङ्गनासुरतवत्स्थाणुवेतालसङ्गवत् ॥ २३ ॥

asaṃbandho'pi saṃbandho bhavatyantarviniścayāt |
svapnāṅganāsuratavatsthāṇuvetālasaṅgavat || 23 ||

Things quite irrelevant become relevant, by our internal conviction of their relevancy; as our sight and apprehension of thieves in our dreams, and the appearance of a demoniac spectre in a block of wood.
