The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कायजीर्णतरोरस्माद्बान्धवाक्रन्दषट्पदा ।
जराकुसुमितोदेति पुनर्मरणमञ्जरी ॥ १५ ॥

kāyajīrṇatarorasmādbāndhavākrandaṣaṭpadā |
jarākusumitodeti punarmaraṇamañjarī || 15 ||

The body decays as a withered tree, and our relatives flutter as bees over it; old age overtakes us with its blossoming grey hairs, and produces the fruit of death.
