The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आत्मलाभं विना साधो विना ज्ञानमहौषधम् ।
उदेति पुनरेवेयं दुःसंसृतिविषूचिका ॥ १३ ॥

ātmalābhaṃ vinā sādho vinā jñānamahauṣadham |
udeti punareveyaṃ duḥsaṃsṛtiviṣūcikā || 13 ||

Without the knowledge of the soul and acquisition of true knowledge, which is the greatest remedy against all diseases of the mind, it is impossible to escape from the pestilence of the world.
