The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.65.23

विलासभासनामानौ वृद्धिमाययतुः क्रमात् ।
तौ पित्रोः पल्लवे दीर्घे लतापादपयोरिव ॥ २३ ॥

vilāsabhāsanāmānau vṛddhimāyayatuḥ kramāt |
tau pitroḥ pallave dīrghe latāpādapayoriva || 23 ||

They were named Bhasa and Vilasa, who grew up in time like two orchids, upon the branching arms of their parents.
