The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निजानर्थसदामग्नं सीदमानमकिंचनम् ।
सन्नाङ्गं कर्मभारेण करुणाक्रन्दकारिणम् ॥ २८ ॥

nijānarthasadāmagnaṃ sīdamānamakiṃcanam |
sannāṅgaṃ karmabhāreṇa karuṇākrandakāriṇam || 28 ||

We are always prone to and plunged in our own evils, and move on like heavy laden bullocks with trolling and groaning all the way long.
