कच्चित्संकल्परहितं परं विश्रमणास्पदम् ।
परमोपशमं श्रेयः समाधिमनुतिष्ठसि ॥ ३ ॥

kaccitsaṃkalparahitaṃ paraṃ viśramaṇāspadam |
paramopaśamaṃ śreyaḥ samādhimanutiṣṭhasi || 3 ||

Do you rely, sir, in that state of perfect rest which is free from desire; and do you rest in that state of supineness—samadhi, which is styled transcendental Coma or trance (paramopsama)?
