The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कच्चिदुद्दामफलिनी फलिनीव फलानता ।
धरा तव फलापूरैर्भृशं धारयति प्रजाः ॥ ३३ ॥

kacciduddāmaphalinī phalinīva phalānatā |
dharā tava phalāpūrairbhṛśaṃ dhārayati prajāḥ || 33 ||

Is this land plentiful in its harvests, and are the trees here bending down with their fruitage; and do the people here enjoy the fruit of their labour and the objects of their desire?
