The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वं चित्तत्त्वकलनं जगदित्यवलोक्य सः ।
प्रशान्तसुखदुःखश्रीस्तस्य पूर्णा मतिर्बभौ ॥ ८ ॥

sarvaṃ cittattvakalanaṃ jagadityavalokya saḥ |
praśāntasukhaduḥkhaśrīstasya pūrṇā matirbabhau || 8 ||

Knowing all things in the world to be but workings of the mind, he remained quiet in every state of pleasure and pain, with the soundness of his understanding.
