The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हर्षामर्षविनिर्मुक्तः प्रत्यहं कार्यमाहरन् ।
उदारगम्भीरवपुर्जहाराम्बुनिधेः श्रियम् ॥ ४ ॥

harṣāmarṣavinirmuktaḥ pratyahaṃ kāryamāharan |
udāragambhīravapurjahārāmbunidheḥ śriyam || 4 ||

He was not susceptible of gladness or anger, at the conduct of others in the discharge of their daily duties; but remained as grave as the deep ocean, under the heaving waves of his clamorous people.
