The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.58.31

स्वेनैव मनसा स्वानि स्वशरीरगतानि च ।
विचारयेन्द्रियाण्यन्तः कीदृशान्यथ कानि च ॥ ३१ ॥

svenaiva manasā svāni svaśarīragatāni ca |
vicārayendriyāṇyantaḥ kīdṛśānyatha kāni ca || 31 ||

It must be in one's own mind, that he should consider the nature and powers of his internal and external organs, and the faculties of his body and mind.
