The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

माण्डव्य उवाच ।
स्वयत्नेन स्वसंस्थेन स्वेनोपायेन भूपते ।
एषा मनःपेलवता हिमवत्प्रविलीयते ॥ २६ ॥

eṣā manaḥpelavatā himavatpravilīyate || 26 ||

A doubt festering in the heart is said to be the greatest pain of man, and this pain is healed only in the society of the good and wise.
