The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भगवन्सर्वधर्मज्ञ चिरं विश्रान्तवानसि ।
तदमुं संशयं छिन्धि ममार्कस्तिमिरं यथा ॥ २५ ॥

bhagavansarvadharmajña ciraṃ viśrāntavānasi |
tadamuṃ saṃśayaṃ chindhi mamārkastimiraṃ yathā || 25 ||

Thou oh lord! art acquainted with all truths and art quite at rest in thy spirit; deign, therefore to remove this doubt from my mind, as the sun displaces the darkness of night by his orient beams.
