The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.58.21

अथैकदा गृहं तस्य माण्डव्यो मुनिराययौ ।
भ्रान्ताशेषककुप्कुञ्जो वासवस्यव नारदः ॥ २१ ॥

athaikadā gṛhaṃ tasya māṇḍavyo munirāyayau |
bhrāntāśeṣakakupkuñjo vāsavasyava nāradaḥ || 21 ||

It happened at one time the sage Mandavya met him at his house, as the divine sage Narada (the Mercury or messenger of gods), meets Indra in his celestial abode, in his journey through the regions of the sky.
