The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.58.7

संचरन्शंकरो दिक्षु भृगुष्विन्दुमणिद्रवैः ।
निवर्तन्ते प्रवर्तन्ते यत्राजस्रं च निर्झराः ॥ ७ ॥

saṃcaranśaṃkaro dikṣu bhṛguṣvindumaṇidravaiḥ |
nivartante pravartante yatrājasraṃ ca nirjharāḥ || 7 ||

Here the god Siva wanders about, and sees the waterfalls proceeding from and receding into the caves of the mountain, by dilution of the moon-stones contained in them.
