The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथा द्रवत्वं पयसि यथा स्पन्दः सदागतौ ।
अहंतादेशकालादि तथा ज्ञे ज्ञप्तिमात्रके ॥ २२ ॥

yathā dravatvaṃ payasi yathā spandaḥ sadāgatau |
ahaṃtādeśakālādi tathā jñe jñaptimātrake || 22 ||

As fluidity is inherent in water, and motion in air, so is egoism innate in the subjective knower, and objectively connate with the known world.
