The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कर्मणास्ति न तस्यार्थो नार्थस्तस्यास्त्यकर्मणा ।
यथास्वभावावगमात्स आत्मन्येव संस्थितः ॥ ६२ ॥

karmaṇāsti na tasyārtho nārthastasyāstyakarmaṇā |
yathāsvabhāvāvagamātsa ātmanyeva saṃsthitaḥ || 62 ||

He who slides from outward nature, and abides in his inward soul; is released from all external actions, and the good and evil resulting therefrom.
