The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चेतसो यदकर्तृत्वं तत्समाधानमुत्तमम् ।
तं विद्धि केवलीभावं सा शुभा निर्वृतिः परा ॥ १५ ॥

cetaso yadakartṛtvaṃ tatsamādhānamuttamam |
taṃ viddhi kevalībhāvaṃ sā śubhā nirvṛtiḥ parā || 15 ||

Know the inaction of the mind, to be the best state of anaesthesia;and solity or singleness, as the best means to your insouciance.
