The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.55.3

नूनं चेत्यांशरहिता चिद्यदात्मनि लीयते ।
असद्रूपवदत्यच्छा सत्तासामान्यता तदा ॥ ३ ॥

nūnaṃ cetyāṃśarahitā cidyadātmani līyate |
asadrūpavadatyacchā sattāsāmānyatā tadā || 3 ||

And this intellect when it is devoid of its intellection and is absorbed in itself, and becomes as transparent as it is nothing of itself; it is then called the common (or Samanga) intellect.
