The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अस्मिन्नवसरे प्राणाश्चेतनामृतमध्यगाः ।
व्योम्नि शीतलतामीयुर्हिमसंस्पर्शसुन्दरीम् ॥ १८ ॥

asminnavasare prāṇāścetanāmṛtamadhyagāḥ |
vyomni śītalatāmīyurhimasaṃsparśasundarīm || 18 ||

In the process of this practice, the vital breath is carried through the intellect to the region of vacuum; where it is cooled by the coldness of its climate.
