The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एषा हि भवतामेव विमोहाय क्षयाय च ।
वातलेखेव दीपानां स्फुरतामपि तेजसाम् ॥ ६८ ॥

eṣā hi bhavatāmeva vimohāya kṣayāya ca |
vātalekheva dīpānāṃ sphuratāmapi tejasām || 68 ||

This desire said:—the creature of your imagination—is the cause of all your errors and your ruin also; as the breath of air is the cause both of the burning and extinction of lamps and lightening the fiery furnaces.
