The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तृष्णयैव विनष्टाः स्थ व्यर्थमिन्द्रियबालकाः ।
कोशकारकुकृमयस्तन्तुनेव स्वयंभुवा ॥ ६४ ॥

tṛṣṇayaiva vinaṣṭāḥ stha vyarthamindriyabālakāḥ |
kośakārakukṛmayastantuneva svayaṃbhuvā || 64 ||

It is your own will that guides your hand to construct a prison for your confinement; as the silly silkworm is confined in the pod of its own making.
