The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.52.30

तस्मात्संक्षीयमाणत्वात्त्यजामि त्वामसन्मयम् ।
मौर्ख्यं परममेवाहुः परित्याज्यानुशासनम् ॥ ३० ॥

tasmātsaṃkṣīyamāṇatvāttyajāmi tvāmasanmayam |
maurkhyaṃ paramamevāhuḥ parityājyānuśāsanam || 30 ||

I shall therefore try to rid myself of this false and vacant ignorance; as it is the admonition of the sastras, to get rid of ignorance by all means.
