The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स तत्प्रस्तारयामास पृष्ठे चारु मृगाजिनम् ।
नीलरत्नतटे मेरुस्तारासारमिवाम्बरम् ॥ ४ ॥

sa tatprastārayāmāsa pṛṣṭhe cāru mṛgājinam |
nīlaratnataṭe merustārāsāramivāmbaram || 4 ||

He then spread over it his carpet of deerskin, as the bedding of stars, is laid over the strata of the blue clouds of heaven.
