किं तत्प्राप्यं प्रधानं स्याद्यद्विश्रान्तौ न शोच्यते ।
यत्प्राप्य जन्मना भूयः संबन्धो नोपजायते ॥ १७ ॥

kiṃ tatprāpyaṃ pradhānaṃ syādyadviśrāntau na śocyate |
yatprāpya janmanā bhūyaḥ saṃbandho nopajāyate || 17 ||

What is that best of gains, said he, which being once obtained, there is nothing more to be expected to lead us to our rest, and which being once had, we have no more to do with our transmigrations in this world?
