The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्रुमेऽक्षिनासाकुसुमे भुजादिशाखे विलोलाङ्गुलिजालपत्रे ।
समुल्लसन्तं परिमारयान्तर्मनोमहामर्कटमङ्ग सिद्ध्यै ॥ ७७ ॥

drume'kṣināsākusume bhujādiśākhe vilolāṅgulijālapatre |
samullasantaṃ parimārayāntarmanomahāmarkaṭamaṅga siddhyai || 77 ||

The big monkey of the mind that sports on the tree of the body, with its eyes and nose as the flowers of the tree, and having the arms for its boughs, and the fingers for its leaves, ought to be checked for one's success in any thing.
