The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वरूपमनुयातस्य तीर्णस्याशामहार्णवम् ।
प्रसरिष्यति ते संवित्सर्यांशुरिव सर्वतः ॥ ४४ ॥

svarūpamanuyātasya tīrṇasyāśāmahārṇavam |
prasariṣyati te saṃvitsaryāṃśuriva sarvataḥ || 44 ||

One who has passed over the great gulf of his desires, and known the true nature of his soul; has his consciousness shining within himself, with the full blaze of the luminous sun.
