The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.50.42

तदोदेति महामोहः संसृतिभ्रमकारणम् ।
निर्मलाया निरंशायाः संवित्तेश्चामतिर्यदा ॥ ४२ ॥

tadodeti mahāmohaḥ saṃsṛtibhramakāraṇam |
nirmalāyā niraṃśāyāḥ saṃvitteścāmatiryadā || 42 ||

It is then only, that the great error of taking the false world for true, prevails over the mind; when it forgets to remember the pure and undivided self-consciousness.
