The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.49.32

यथा स्वप्नमनोराज्यधातुसंस्थितिविभ्रमाः ।
जाग्रत्यपि तथैवाङ्ग दृश्यन्ते मनसा स्वयम् ॥ ३२ ॥

yathā svapnamanorājyadhātusaṃsthitivibhramāḥ |
jāgratyapi tathaivāṅga dṛśyante manasā svayam || 32 ||

In the manner of a man's vision of a kingdom in his dream, and like the delirium caused by the vitiated humours, of the body; the mind sees many day dreams and deliriums in its waking and healthy states also.
