The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथैव विकलत्रत्वं प्राप्य देशान्तरं गतः ।
बभूव कीरनृपतिः प्रविवेशानलं ततः ॥ २९ ॥

tathaiva vikalatratvaṃ prāpya deśāntaraṃ gataḥ |
babhūva kīranṛpatiḥ praviveśānalaṃ tataḥ || 29 ||

Who being bereaved of his family there, went out from that place to wander about in foreign parts; when he became king of the Kiris, and afterwards immerged himself in the fire.
