The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.48.38

अथास्य पुण्डरीकाक्षः पयोमूर्तिरुपाययौ ।
प्रसादमुत्पलश्यामः शरदीव महाहदः ॥ ३८ ॥

athāsya puṇḍarīkākṣaḥ payomūrtirupāyayau |
prasādamutpalaśyāmaḥ śaradīva mahāhadaḥ || 38 ||

Then the lotus eyed god appeared to him in his watery form, which was as clear and graceful to sight, as the limpid lake of autumn with the blue lotuses full blown upon it.
