The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.48.21

यं यं पृच्छत्यसौ गाधिर्जनं जातकुतूहलः ।
तस्य तस्य मुखादेव श्रृणोत्यास्वादयत्यपि ॥ २१ ॥

yaṃ yaṃ pṛcchatyasau gādhirjanaṃ jātakutūhalaḥ |
tasya tasya mukhādeva śrṛṇotyāsvādayatyapi || 21 ||

In this manner the inquisitive Gadhi continued in his inquiry of every man he met with, and was satisfied to learn the same information from the mouth of every body there.
