The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अत्र तद्बालनिःश्वासरणद्वंशप्रवृत्तवत् ।
गीतं पीतं शुनीरक्तं साधिता शवभूषितः ॥ १० ॥

atra tadbālaniḥśvāsaraṇadvaṃśapravṛttavat |
gītaṃ pītaṃ śunīraktaṃ sādhitā śavabhūṣitaḥ || 10 ||

I see the place I had seen in my vision, where the boys sang responsive to the tune of their bamboo pipes; and drank the milk of bitches, and adorned themselves with flowers from the funeral grounds.
