The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
लुठितं श्वपचागारे पुनर्विस्मयमाययौ ।
गाधेर्मनो हि नायाति तृप्तिमाश्चर्यदर्शने ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
luṭhitaṃ śvapacāgāre punarvismayamāyayau |
gādhermano hi nāyāti tṛptimāścaryadarśane || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—Gadhi was bewildered in his mind, at all that he heard and observed about the Chandala and his residence, and felt uneasy to learn more about them.
